We recently completed a substantial bedroom and bathroom extension to our house managed by Greg Lewis who had previously undertaken a similar role in our kitchen refurbishment last year. Greg introduced us to groundworks, bricklaying, plastering, tiling, electrical and plumbing teams with whom he had worked before. Greg himself undertook the carpentry work, roofing and fitting of a comprehensive range of drawer, cupboard and wardrobe units, together with a project management role. The groundworks excavation began on 3rd April 2017 and the final plumbing and electrical work was completed on 29th June 2017 with the Building Inspector declaring himself very happy with all the work and issuing the necessary completion certificate on 6th July 2017. Not only were we delighted with the quality of the work undertaken by all of the tradesmen, there was never a pause in the project which proceeded seamlessly with no hold ups whatsoever. All members of the team were a delight to have in our home and the coordination by Greg was truly excellent. We had anticipated at least a six month duration with considerable disruption yet the work was completed in less than three with site housekeeping being of a very high order. We were provided with a detailed breakdown of the work to be done by each trade with a fixed price that was only exceeded where we requested additional work. I would recommend anyone undertaking similar work to consider using Greg not only as the carpenter but also as the overall Project Manager.
